Hang on. I'm trying to get as reliable information as possible. There can be a lot lost in the middle man and political agendas of different organizations that post this information. I'm not saying that we're not looking down the barrel of a potentially nightmarish situation. Gabi won't be home for her birthday.
Here's a bright spot. Ella turns 1 on February 20. When we are back down in Guatemala, we're having a party to celebrate her birthday (woohoo!), Gabi's impending birthday (March 27) and the fact that we have our girls forever. They are two of the sweetest girls you've ever seen.

I must print off the doll pic of Gabi and put it on our Gabi poster in the classroom. If she isn't the cutest thing ever. We will have a Gabi birthday party while we are at the beach. We will cheer your mom up, but in the meantime she is chomping at the bit to get to that girl. You are going to have so much fun. Thinking of you and praying for you often. It will happen. Keep the faith.
