Gabi's hair is very long! And beautiful. She played outside very happily for well over two hours without needing much entertainment. She just giggles and grins all over the place. She thinks her daddy is pretty silly and Mommy is a laugh a minute. I think she kind of hurt Ed's feelings because she was pretty fussy when she first got to the room. She didn't want to be put down and Ed was making her cry. Of course, he took it personally. We forget that she's out of her element and doesn't know us from Adam. But she's come around.
The report from her foster mom is that she is crawling-- but backwards only. She loves to roll over and she's very strong. Gabi is incredibly curious and quite a flirt with everyone around her.
In other news, our friends just found out today that they are on the director of PGN's desk. They are here visiting their daughter, Emma, with their two boys and one set of grandparents. We finally had the pleasure of meeting Gabi's foster sister and her parents. We had a delightful afternoon with all three girls out by the pool. We hope to have equally good news from PGN in the next two weeks or so.
I know this is what you've all been waiting for. Sister-Aunt Natalie, how sweet is this outfit on her? And could her bow be any more precious, Aunt Kristin? She's a doll. Enjoy the pics...

I've been waiting all day. She's more beautiful every time I see her. She's progressing right on schedule if she's crawling, maybe even a little ahead.
Her long hair makes her look like such a big girl.
She surely looks happy in the pictures.
Love you all,
GG
Now that is some good hair--doesnt she look happier without it all trussed up like a turkey?
I think its wierd how much she looks like Dad, especially that shit eating grin. She must act like you though
She is so beautiful-looks so much like you Mandy, it is uncanny! The hair is adorable. Have a great rest of you trip!
Love,
Amie K
