Gabi learned how to drink from a straw today. Thanks to her SLP mother, she is a genius. She also spent much of the day hugging her mommy and daddy. That's her new thing. Hugging. It's very sweet! We love to watch her learn something new every day. I guess that won't ever get old.
Apparently there is some sort of "stealing my thunder" thing going on in Illinois. They were so jealous of my three earthquakes in Guatemala that they went and fashioned their own. Actually, there were 7. We hope everyone is well and safe. Our friend, MK, who is dogsitting Izzy, said that Izzy woke up early this morning whining, shaking and barking. MK was mad at her at first. She couldn't figure out what had gotten into her until she realized that their world was shaking. Poor Izzy. She's so misunderstood. (Although frankly, we would have reacted the same way.)

Don't let her learn to much. I have a few things to teach her myself. She'll walk as soon as you hold your hands out to her and tell her she can. She's obviously ready. The hugging sounds wonderful to me.
Only 3 more days.
Can we stand it?
Love you 3 too much,
GG
I love Gotcha Day!!! She is yours and Edwards forever and of course the rest of us who have been waiting for our Gabi to come home also.I'm with Izzy. I didn't like the earthquake at all. We even felt some of the aftershocks at school today. One woman at Hardees said her bed is on wheels and it rolled clear across the floor. Hopefully none of us will have anymore shake, rattle and rolls. Stay safe. Keep the faith.
Love you bunches.
