Gory Details

We just got back to Illinois a little while ago. We're sort of exhausted and exhilarated at the same time. We had such a great time with Kurt, Sandy and JM. Time with old friends is the best medicine. Thanks, Kurt and Sandy, for your hospitality and time.

I think we're going to be very happy in Houston. The people are incredibly nice. There's great food, a lot of family-oriented things to do, beautiful parks, biking/jogging trails, and it's WARM!!! I can't say that we enjoyed leaving 85 degree weather yesterday to come home to 35 degrees here. Lovely. Oh... and there's a winter storm warning.

Here are a few pictures of our new digs...

The house is beautiful! It looks like a nice place to call home (and I bet Gabi will love that pool)! Here's hoping you are bringing her home there soon soon soon!!!!

How absolutely wonderful for you all. A place to finally settle down in and feel like home. It will truly feel like home once Gabi is laughing and playing in that beautiful pool. I can't wait to come visit.
